mr. wolfe, i am so glad you ran this add. floyd and i are friends, but i dont think he is prepared to tackle tough issues like this. he wants to cooperate so much that i dont think he knows there are some things where cooperation is the wrong thing to do. nobody should cooperate with such obvious racism and discrimination. everybody knows that your not scared to tell it like it is.

I have his sign in my yard, but only because i didn’t want to hurt his and his family’s feelings. you’ve got my vote mr. wolfe and the vote of a lot of his other “supporters”.

Thanks for telling it like it is, as always. It’s not easy to speak out against such an injustice as this and yet you always do. I am betting that there are many, many people who belong to the silent majority who are behind you 100%. Keep it up.

I work in the Federal Gov. where there are some real problems with issues such as the one you ran an add on in Sundays paper (Affirmative Action/Racial Quotas). I’m sure everyone has heard the term Affirmative Action but I bet not everyone knows all of its intents and purposes.
I only wish there were more people who would step up to the plate when it comes to issues such as Affirmative Action like you have, and will continue to do with WHEN you get re-elected. I feel like as long as people go along with Affirmative Action our “problems” are only going to get worse. Good luck in these last 4 weeks on the campaign trail and good luck the next 4 years serving as Leflore County District 1 supervisor.

Thank you so much for speaking out on this issue. Affirmative Action is racial discrimination in itself. We are way past needing this for minorities to get jobs. You can look at the make-up of local government to see that. Phil Wolfe is the only leader I have heard who will speak out on issues such as this. That is why he will ALWAYS have my support.

I am 17 and Phil Wolfe is my uncle. All my life I can remember Uncle Phil always standing up for what he believes is right. He has never been afraid to speak his mind. He fights for the good of ALL people. I’m glad Greenwood still has him on their Board of Supervisors. I hope that he will be re-elected because Leflore County and Greenwood both need somebody like Phil Wolfe to stand up for the people.
