Ad Displays Wolfe’s Economic Development Leadership

Sunday (July 29) the Wolfe Campaign ran an advertisement in the Greenwood Commonwealth describing a Supervisor’s proper role in encouraging economic development. Everyone involved in economic development must do his own job well, instead of trying to do someone else’s job for them.

I’m glad you addressed your opponent’s thinking that a County Supervisor’s duties include industrial development. As you state the supervisor selects members of a board to recruit business for the county.
It seems from your opponent’s ads that he also thinks that running the county schools is a function of the Board of Supervisors. It is beyond me how can he be so misinformed. The last I heard there was a Board of Education and a Superintendent tasked with running the schools.
It appears he thinks he is going to be a “one man show” — if he can get elected.
I would think that if he is such a whiz that he would be talking about how he plans to straighten the county attorney out since he, himself, is an attorney by profession. But I have not heard him mention that.
Phil, you are the man we need for the job. Keep up the great work!
I haven’t heard him say anything about saving us money like you do by not having a county vehicle, cell phone, or gas card, though.
