What I really like about these cards is the cool picture of the Wolfe standing guard! Everybody that knows Phil has seen him standing just like that.

I just want to say it’s been great having Phil represent our district the last 16 years, and support him fully for the next term. He stands up for his people and doesn’t avoid the issues that matter most. GREAT JOB PHIL! GOOD LUCK!

I’ve known Phil all his life and I know for a fact that whatever he says, that’s what he means. We need to keep him “standing guard at the courthouse” for the next four years.

Phil, the website is fantastic, but you sure don’t need one to get my vote. I am well aware of your efforts to look out for the best interests of every taxpayer in Leflore County.

If you hadn’t been in office these past 16 years there is no telling how high our taxes would be.

Keep up the great work!

I’ve known Phil and his family since he was a child, and have seen him work hard and be successful with any endeavor he took on. For the past 16 years I have witnessed, personally, the tenacity with which he has represented all the people of Leflore County and District One. I know that he always speaks out on the issues and never soft-steps them. He does everything in his power to assure that his constituents are always represented to the fullest and that their tax money is not squandered.

I think Phil has done such a great job in part because of the connections he has in Greenwood. I can’t think of anyone better suited to serve District one!

Thanks for a job well done. Looking forward to another term just like it. Best of luck

I have watched Phil serve this community with only the highest integrity for years. He uses his votes and his voice for the benefit of the people. I wonder how many other elected officials turn down the use of a county vehicle and other “benefits” given to elected officials. Look closely at the picture of Phil guarding the courthouse. It is a true depiction of what he does every day and that is guarding your tax dollars. I only wish more politicians were as honest and hard working as you Phil. By the way, the alarm system you donated to the Humane Shelter is working great! Thanks for all you do.

Phil has been a friend of our family for many years. When my Daddy was ill, Phil was right there to offer help and support. In his final days Daddy told Mama that he knew she would be fine because he knew that Phil would take care of her. It is that kind of dedication that has made Phil the sort of man and the sort of politician that we all want and need in office. Thanks so much for everything Phil!

I have watched Phil work hard for the citizens of Leflore County for years. He is a true leader who does not follow the crowd and always uses his influence to protect the people that live and work in this community. He refuses to “go along” with anything that he feels is not in the best interest of the people that put him in office. Hang tough, Phil. We need more leaders like you!

As President of the Greenwood Telecom Pioneers I want to say a huge “thank you” for all of your help at the Leflore County Humane Shelter. Your quick response to the break in at the shelter is indicative of the way you respond to any problem in Leflore County. You were the first person to step up and offer help in a great time of need and you encouraged others to help, too! Keep up the good work and thanks for being a strong leader who takes care of business in a way that makes us all proud to know you.

Thanks for always doing the right thing for the people of Leflore County. As someone who lives in your district I know, first hand, the sort of work that you do. Keep up the good work!

My entire family lives in District 1 and I want to say how much we appreciate all of your hard work and the fact that you always stand up for the people of Leflore County. Thanks for everything you do!

As a long time resident of District 1, I can honestly say that I have always been proud of the way the you represent the people who live in your district. You have always stood firm and voted for the rights of the people even when it may not have been easy or the popluar thing to do. Thanks for guarding not only the courthouse but our rights as well.

Thanks for working hard to make Leflore County a great place to live. The “about Phil” page is a true representation of what you do and who you are. Thanks so much for being the honest and fair politician that you are.

I have known Phil for many years and have watched him help, not only people that live in his district, but anyone who needed a helping hand. Thanks for being the person that you are and for standing guard over the county.

As the director of the Leflore County Humane Society i would like to thank Mr. Phil Wolfe for all the help and support he’s offered us at the shelter. You have our vote any day. Thank you. (Humane Society).

The one true fact that I have known for the 35 years that I have been married to Phil is, that whatever he does, he gives is his all. Whenever he sets his mind to do something, he never fails to give it everthing he has.

When he became supervisor almost 16 years ago, I knew that he would stand up and say whenever and whatever he knew was the “right thing” to do for that situation.

I know in my heart if he is re-elected, he will do exactly what he has done in the past and I couldn’t be prouder of him than I am in all aspects of his life, not just being Supervisor of District 1. He is the finest man that I know and I am proud to be able to call him my husband.

Deborah Wolfe wrote on June 30, 2007 - 12:05 pm

Although I do not know Mr. Wolfe personally, I do know what he has done for his district and for Leflore County and I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you. I hope you will continue your good work for many years to come.

I am a resident in district 1 and I am proud to say that I am a supporter of Phil Wolfe. I have always known Phil to be an honest and hard working public servant. As Vice-President of the Leflore County Humane Shelter I want to say a special thank you for his support of the shelter. He responded so quickly after the shelter was broken into and donated an alarm system at no cost to the shelter. Thanks for being such

There are so many things that I could say about Phil Wolfe,But first let me give you a little of our background.
I have known Phil Wolfe for 40 years, I was the best man at his wedding and he was best man at mine, even when we were teenagers I knew Phil would achive great things.
He was always concerned with doing the right thing, we have been very close, he has been like the brother that I never had.
I have known his wife Debbie, for almost as long as he has.
His daughter, Kimberly, I held in my arms when she was just days old.
I think the point that I am trying to make is that I know Phil Wolfe as well as anyone, and the people of Beat 1 should be thankful that they have such a man looking after things as their supervisor.
Another thing that I can say about Phil is, he is no “get-along”, by that I mean he is not afraid to speak his mind.
Some folks will set back and smile and nod their heads, and just “get along”, and that is not what we need in our supervisors office.
That kind of thinking is what got our city government in the shape it is in now.
We have a man like Phil Wolfe, someone with the courage, and intestinal fortitude, to say, WAIT A MINUTE, lets look at this another way.
That’s the kind of man Phil Wolfe is, a man who is involved in every aspect of our community and is not afraid to speak the truth.

I have known Phil and his family for many years now. Phil has always been a gentleman, a person of integrity and has proven over the past years his ability to represent the people in District 1. He has the professional experience needed to be a member of the Leflore County Board of Supervisors, and this experience counts heavily when it comes to overseeing major decisions regulated by the supervisors. Phil has shown that he is against unecessary spending and quotas, there is no place in county government for the get-along attitudes or power seekers in this race. We need Phil to remain District 1 supervisor.

I have known Phil and his family for many years. They have high moral values and standards. When you ask for their help, they are willing to do anything for you without hesitation. Phil has personlly gone beyond the call of duty in regards to the Leflore County Humane Society. He did improvements not for political gain but for the love and care of animals. We are indeed grateful for his help and concern. He is a family man and a true friend. aubrey whittington

I have known phil for over twenty years and have known him to be a man of his word even before he was involved in politcs.he has never viewed things as black or white as many of the other greenwood leaders do, but saw things from the point of view that people are people and right is right wrong is wrong. he was unanimously voted to president of the greenwood police officers assoc. by all the officers black and white to stand up for us for what was right, with great success, and has our respect and support for all he has done and will do in the future.
